Maurizio Sarri could return as Napoli coach again if the Partenope chooses Frederic Massara as the club’s new sporting director.
Italian outlet Il Mattino reports that. Sarri is more likely to return to Napoli if club president Aurelio De Laurentiis appoints Massara as the new sporting director.UFABET
Sarri recently resigned from his position as coach of Lazio. And can sign contracts to manage other clubs immediately without having to pay a release clause or any fees. It would therefore be Massara’s wish list if he were to be appointed sporting director of the Partenope.
However, Tuttosport reports that De Laurentiis still wishes to have Antonio Conte take over as manager for the 2024-25 season. But the chances of the former Italy coach accepting the offer are slim. And if ‘ADL’s’ plan fails, it may accept Massara’s plan.
Yet De Laurentiis still appears to have not forgiven Sarri, who left the club in 2018 to take over at Chelsea. Calling him a ‘loser’ after his latest resignation at Lazio.
Today Sarri is proving to everyone that If he gets enough trust from the board and fans. Give him time to make a team. He himself has skills at the top level, not lost on young coaches as well. And recently won the Serie A Best Coach award for March as well.
