Ruben Amorim has admitted Manchester United are suffering
“maybe one of their lowest moments” and has called for everyone – including the exiled Marcus Rashford to be “strong in the moment”.

Meanwhile, United’s former talisman Rashford has left out of the last three matchday squads and gave a bombshell interview last week to announce he is looking for a “new challenge”.
Ask if the Rashford saga is in danger of becoming a distraction, Amorim said: “No, I don’t think so. Not for me, not for the other players.
“Because everybody is there every day during training. They understand. That is the key point. For the media and for the other people, I cannot control that.
“But I am really focused and they know I am so clear in my message. Everyone in Carrington knows what I’m talking about and what I want from Marcus and everybody else. It’s not a distraction for us, maybe it is for the media but it’s not my concern.”
Ask what he wants to see from Rashford, Amorim replied: “Like any other player, the best that they can be.
“If you have big talent, big performance, big responsibility, push forward everybody in this moment. Some guys have a big responsibility here because they are here for a long time.
“This is maybe one of the lowest moments in our club so we have to face it and be strong in this moment. That’s what I want from every player on the team.”
