Arsenal are set to face Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League last-16. And have been handed a boost with Declan Rice set to return after recovering from injury.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed Declan Rice is available to play this week. During his pre-match press conference ahead of their Champions League clash with Sporting Lisbon.

After a fairly good start to the season, the Gunners have stumbled both in the league and in Europe. However, they returned to form with a 3-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday.

Arsenal midfielder Rice has been struggling with a toe injury in recent weeks and left-back Tierney has been out with a hamstring problem. However, Gunners manager Arteta says both are fit for their Champions League encounter away at Sporting CP this week.

Ahead of the midweek game, Arteta gave an update on the team’s situation. Saying: ยูฟ่าเบท http://ufabet999.app “All the players in the squad are now fit and ready to play.”

The Gunners have received further good news. With Scottish left-back Kieran Tierney fit to feature for the first time in two years.

However, with Riccardo Calafori, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior, Jurian Timber, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Miles Lewis-Skelly already options, Tierney is unlikely to feature in this game.
