Ipswich Town have reopened talks with Chelsea over a loan deal for Armando Broja, according to The สมัคร ufabet.
The 22-year-old forward has picked up a foot injury and is expected to be out until October, however, the two clubs are continuing talks over a move.
Ipswich have had two bids rejected. But they and other clubs are still looking to secure a move for the Albanian.
If the move does go through, Broja would be on his fourth loan spell after spells at Vitesse, Southampton and Fulham.
Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna admitted. That the striker was someone they were keen on and he refused to close the door on a transfer. However, it’s now understood that the 22-year-old will not leave the Blues before tomorrow’s deadline.
An achilles injury that showed during his medical at Ipswich is proving to be a problem and he is set for a period out of action to undergo rehab. However, it’s understood that a move could happen if an interested club shows willingness to overlook the injury.
He has been at Chelsea since joining from Tottenham Hotspur’s academy in 2009, making his first-team debut in March 2020.
Broja suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in December 2022, keeping him out for nearly nine months.
He moved to Fulham in January, but has made just eight appearances and failed to score.
Broja scored nine goals in 38 games for Southampton in 2021-22. Before returning to Chelsea that summer, but has managed just one goal in 18 appearances.
