Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim says he does not have the time that Mikel Arteta had at Arsenal to rebuild the team.

The 40-year-old took over at Old Trafford in November but has struggled to make it any easier as the club continue to struggle under Erik ten Hag.

Arsenal suffered a similar decline before rebounding under Arteta at the end of 2019.

Asked if he saw similarities between his time at United and Arteta’s, Amorim replied:

“I don’t feel that way. I don’t have the time that Arteta has. And I feel that way. It’s a different club. “

So we just have to try and survive with the players that we have on Sunday and in these games. “

I think it’s different. I think in that way, เล่นเกมคาสิโน UFABET ทันสมัย ฝากถอนง่าย Arteta’s way inspires everyone, but I don’t have the time that he has.”

Despite the challenges, Amorim remains convinced he is the right man to take United back to the top, although he has hinted that the club’s long-term aim may require another manager to succeed him.

However, he is now focused on solving the immediate problem as United prepare to host Arsenal. After drawing 1-1 with Real Sociedad in the first leg of their Europa League last 16 tie,

United were without 11 key players in Spain, which limited their options for the travelling squad, and the fatigue from their last game was clearly affecting them.

“We have to survive on Sunday,” Amorim said.

“The team was very tired in the last 20 minutes. We have to prepare for Sunday and then think about the important game on Thursday.”
